Dafydd (Dave) Williams is Defying Gravity

After the assembly, select students, parents and teachers joined Dave in the board room at Mount Sinai School of Medicine for an intimate question and answer session.

Dave answered each question in great detail. He spoke with passion about what motivated him to become an astronaut and encouraged everyone to follow their own dreams.

Even the portraits on the wall seemed fascinated by Dave’s every word.

As he spoke, Dave signed countless photographs and event tickets for his fans.

Drs. Gannon and Williams share an ambition to educate the nation’s youngsters on the importance of both medical science and space exploration.

Here, Dr. Gannon tries to move things along. Dave is scheduled to have dinner but can’t tear himself away from the adoring crowd. The questions keep coming and Dave never tires of answering.
